Problem Note 44317: SAS® Financial Management form set member selection rules not retained for an imported form set if authors not explicitly defined for member forms

DetailsAboutRate It

If you create a SAS Financial Management form set but do not explicitly define form authors, member selection rules are not retained if you export and import that form set. Also, "At least one member must be selected" is displayed in the Forms pane of the form set properties.

Unless you access the form set properties, there is nothing obvious to indicate that you have a problem, especially since you are prompted that the form set import was successful.

You are then able to publish the form set, and everything seems to be OK. When you access the Form Manager, you find that the status of the form set is 'Published', but there are no member forms displayed in the Form Manager. You are also not able to select the form set in the Form Manager filters if none of the member forms had authors originally defined.

If you have a form set with (for example) 10 member forms and you define authors for 5 forms, member selection rules are retained for those 5 forms. Only those 5 forms are retained when you publish the form set.

This is marked as fixed in SAS Financial Management 5.3.
